DPSS Lasers
Diode pumped solid state lasers, also known as dpss lasers, are typically used for a range of industrial and laboratory applications. The consistency of the diode allows for a solid state laser beam to be produced, which produces the versatility of the collimated light. High power dpss lasers have even begun to replace traditional ion lasers, not only because of improved lucent technology, but also because they are less costly to produce. DPSS lasers are the standard in laser light technology.
