Blue Lasers
The blue laser beam is produced from an ultra-violet diode laser at a frequency of 473nm. Until recently, blue lasers were only available for industrial and medical use, but due to a recent boom in blue light technology and fiber optics, the blue laser has become extremely popular in the hand held laser pointer world. The blue beam displays our current scientific understanding of the visible light spectrum.
