500mW Lasers
Laser diodes are now capable of intense outputs of 500mW or higher. These lasers are typically used for industrial use, however with modern advances in portable laser technology, specific hand held lasers are now readily availble in output powers of 500mW or more. Extreme caution must be take when using lasers of this magnitude, but there is no replacing the burning power of a laser diode module at this output.
